First Cold Weather Day

The temperature has finally dropped in Houston. Chloe felt her first 50 degree wind this week. This outfit was a hand me down from a friend and it is almost too small, but she had to wear it. Well I had to see her in it let's put it that way.

6 months old

Chloe had her six month checkup yesterday. She is a super star! This was her second visit to the doctor this week. Mee Maw had to take her on Monday because she was screaming and come to find out her ears are full of wax. So they had to dig it out of her ears which she was not happy about and Daddy and Mee Maw had to handle her. Poor baby. They had to do it again on yesterday and once again she was not happy. We just have to keep an eye on her ears. At least she does not have an infection. Here are her stats:

Weight: 19lbs. 10oz. (95th percentile)

Height: 27.5 inches (95th percentile)

Head: 17 1/4 (85th percentile)

Chloe loves rolling all over the floor with the dogs and any toy that is soft and makes a crinkle sound. She is starting to get on all fours and rocking back and forth and then diving forward, and she is sitting up on her own for short periods of time. She is eating her baby food like a champ. She doesn't like her veggies too much so we mix them with her fruit usually. She loves squash and sweet potatoes, and strangely green beans. She loves bananas, applesauce, pears and prunes. She gets to start on level 2 foods now and she will have a much bigger variety of veggies so that should be fun. She is going to her first cookoff this weekend with MeeMaw and PawPaw, GO SMOKE-EATERS! Wish she fit in her boots. It should be fun for her.

I will be sure to get some new pictures up soon. The whole house has been sick so the pictures would not have been pretty. Hope everyone is well.
